| Abstract | This session will explore new and emerging trends in student mobility, and how that affects University Recruitment strategies and practices. A three person panel will share their unique perspectives and lead discussion on the both the challenges and opportunities that exist for universities when recruiting college transfer students. Jeff Post is the Brock - Niagara liaison officer who works for both institutions. He will take us through what students are looking for when they are looking to change institution types, he will walk through the development of his position, as well as the benefits of the position. Linda Basso is the Pathways Coordinator for Mohawk college. She will inform us on how new articulation agreements are made, what college students are looking for and what the common concerns are. Ray Darling is the Registrar at Wilfrid Laurier University and a member of the COU Credit Transfer Resource Group as well as the MTCU Credit Transfer Technical Working Group. He will update us on recent developments at the Ministry and COU levels. |
