Abstract

In 2004 the University of Toronto Mississauga moved the bulk of its paper-based business processes to a digital environment, using eCabinet, a Ricoh product. This revolutionized the way they did business. As time passed, however, it became apparent that an off-the-shelf product wasn’t meeting all of their needs. A homegrown application, which they call Paper Park, was developed to meet all of their needs. In this presentation the presenters will not only talk about scanning and imaging document solutions but, more importantly, the business processes which such systems support in a typical Registrar’s Office.
