| Abstract | Beginning in January 2008, Colleges Ontario (CO) and the Council of Ontario Universities (COU) worked collaboratively on a CO-COU Task Force to examine student mobility pathways between the college and university sectors. The Task Force was chaired by Dr. Alastair Summerlee, President, University of Guelph. The deliberations of the Task Force were tabled later in the year in the form of a report entitled System Redesign to Facilitate Student Mobility Pathways. The Working Group on Student Mobility represents the next phase in the review and is focused on considering a curricular-based model informed by the concepts of program-by-program assessments and curricular requirements approved by academic senates. Dr. Embleton, a member of the working group, will provide information regarding the concept. |
