| Abstract | Learn best practices for convocating students and the dos and don’ts of developing an online solution. With a graduating class of close to 8000 students at the June convocation and 2000 at the October convocation, York University was stretched to the limits when providing services to graduating students. The recent launch of an online convocation web site solved the dilemma. Graduands can now RSVP to their convocation of choice, apply to graduate, reserve a robe, pay a rental fee, and much more. This session will provide participants with an overview of the system. |
