Hotel Accommodations

ACCOMMODATION UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 24, 2006:

Please note that the block of rooms reserved for OURA at the Marriot Eaton Centre is SOLD OUT as of January 24, 2006. If there are cancellations closer to the conference, some rooms may become available but there is no guarantee.

OURA has therefore reserved an additional block of bedrooms at the beautiful Metropolitan Hotel, located at 108 Chestnut street which is a short (3-minute) walk from the Marriott hotel.

Two room types have been reserved at the Metropolitan Hotel:

Deluxe Rooms - $135 per room single/double (the hotel's standard room)
Luxury Rooms - $149 per room single/double (an upgraded room with European-style bedding etc)

This additional block of rooms will only be available until FEBRUARY 6, 2006. After this date, the block will be released and rooms will only be available at the prevailing rate on the day you reserve the room. Room reservations and charges are the responsibility of the individual delegate. When making your reservation, identify yourself as a participant in the Ontario University Registrars’ Association (OURA) Conference. Reservations can be made by calling the Metropolitan Hotel Reservations line at 416-599-0555, or toll-free 1-800-668-6600.

OURA has reserved a block of guestrooms at The Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre, located at 525 Bay Street, Toronto, ON M5G 2L2. All conference functions will be held at the Marriott Hotel. Rooms are available to OURA delegates at the rate of $129.00 per night (plus applicable taxes).

Note the following:

You must make your reservation no later than January 29, 2006. After this date, the OURA block will be released and rooms may not be available or may only be available at a higher rate. Room reservations and charges are the responsibility of the individual delegate. When making your reservation, identify yourself as a participant in the Ontario University Registrars’ Association (OURA) Conference. All reservations for arrival after 6:00pm must be accompanied by a first night room deposit, or guaranteed with a major credit card. The Marriott Hotel will not hold any reservations after 6:00pm unless secured by one of the above methods.
