Effie has held several positions in Admission Services at the University of Guelph, including Liaison Officer - Recruitment Events and Liaison Officer - National Recruitment. Currently, Effie is the Assistant Registrar, Student Recruitment and a member of the Board of Governors at the U of G, as well as Vice- President for the Ontario University Registrar's Association. Effie's most significant contribution to the Ontario liaison community has been her work with the Ontario Universities' Fair Planning and Steering Committees. She started as a member in 2002, before serving as Chair of the OUF-SC for 2 years. Effie has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Guelph.
